i was wondering some good story ideas cuz i love writing. if u hav any, pleaz write. whichever 1 i think i can relate to the most will be chosen as best answer. thnx 4 the help! ps, dont do anything too girly cuz i’m a tomboy. thnx!

What kind of stories do you like? Fantasy? Horror? Romance?

I would start with journalizing your life, experiences, moods, etc. That will give you a feel for what you like to write about, hopefully. Good luck!

I think you should just let yourself go into your mood. Think of all your past experiences, put them together and write. Be as honest to yourself as possible. Don’t hold back.
Write about love, hatred, mystery, suspense, deciet and trust. Relate it to your own life.

i would describe my environment first of all, i would build personages inspired from my friends, family, etc. i would also start a story from what happens to me in one common day(what i saw, etc).
it is interesting to play with reality-fantasy – you start to write about something real, then you turn the story into something that is imagined.
i would also try to write screenplays (because it is a very good exercise for a story teller) , it helps you become more coherent and clear when you try to make the structure of the story….
your every day life is a great source for your stories, what you hear, what you see, what you feel and/or understand, which are your wishes and how your imagination wants to be part of your life.
automatic writing can also be a very rich source of inspiration – Read about it in Aldous Huxley writings. you put your pen on the paper and start to write. you are not allowed to stop 10 or 15 minutes. you write everything that passes trough your mind, even if you think it is not good enough of it seems to you that has no logical points.
you must keep writing and then when you’ll read the incoherent text, then you will find some interesting things. and it is also a good exercise for your imagination and a way to open your mind more easy.
