Keep writing. Don’t judge yourself. You are writing for you, so yes, it is good enough. Don’t ever think that it isn’t. If you say you are a writer, you are. Keep it up!

Lia, thanks for the tips, I have struggled with writing ever since I was a teen and wanted to be one. My problem is that I think nothing I write is good enough, so I stop writing and then feel like shit for not continuing, I’ve been looking at several videos and stumble upon yours, thanks a lot.

Hi, I’m just wondering if you only sefl publish, or if you have tried to get a publishing house to pay you so they can publish one of your novels?
Have you tried entering any writing contests?
If you don’t mind, I’m going to respond with a video that has helped a lot of people so far.

Hi Mrs Price. I just thought I’d like to thank you for responding to so many people in the comments.
I am on medical leave and can’t work and I have come up with writing as a good tool for me to pass the time. I am hoping if I can message you some time? I am a new writer and I know this journey will have its ups and downs. Thanks for reading. Thanks for your adbice in the video. Your also putting a lot of effort in the comments..

Hi Lia I’m still plugging along, but you know I am at a point where there are characters and they are all doing things and going places and I have a main idea but everyone is running around in circles and I dont know how I will weave it together and make the climax or make a goal for them. I still need to enter into the story myself and have not yet. I am fearing too, the major scenes, dont know what they will be. It was the story of a life time in a short time remember? The treasure hunt?

There are many online e-publishers such as iuniverse and even cafepress. Check out their web sites. They are print-on-demand and a good way to self-publish your work. Good luck!

Good informative video. I’ve been writting a story for a while and was wondering about how I would even get it published. Do you have any advice on that?

No prob. Write me anytime you need writing/publishing advice!

Thank you so much. Let’s hope no-one else is tuned in to my wave-length!

Unfortunately, if another writer has been published and you pursue your same story, you leave yourself open for copyright violation. The other author seems to have gotten the copyright first. If it is too similar or practically the same, I would find another story. Hope this helps!

What happens if another writer has a book published on exactly the same story that I am currently writing, please? Carry on or find another story? Grateful for any advice. Thanks from the UK.

You will…just keep writing. It took me many topics, drafts and subjects before I found what I was really interested in. My first try was romance novels, which failed miserably. Now I found horror. It will be exciting to see what you’ll eventually find!
Keep it up!

My biggest dream is to write a real novel, a fictional story. It has been the greatest challenge of mine since I was a little kid (I’m now 16 years old.) I’ve tried many times, every year… Every time I start a long story, I usually lose my interest in it or realise how foolish the plot is. But maybe, some day, I have a book with my name on it…

My husband used to live in Italy. He does want to visit someday! I’ve never been there and it sounds like fun! PS you can visit my web site for my books and films, and my blog at blogger has excerpts from my books, and I have a free short story blog going. I’m glad I can help you out in writing! Keep it up and always feel free to ask for writing advice!

You’re so welcome! I hope it helps you, and someday I’ll see your book!

That’s right! Exciting, isn’t it?

When I am through with this project, I’d like to find the creative stories you wrote, and the films..to see what’s behind Lia Price. Your mind and ideas are inspiring! I’d love to know if you’ll ever come to Italy to speak?

Hi Lia!
I printed out all your words, even the messages you gave others and glance at them over and over. I try to keep in mind most of them while writing, but may just do that on the 2nd draft. I started more than a few times and four days ago again. I now have 20 pages, just a start. I still need to get the ‘feel’ to my own writing, the structures, and the practice of what inspires me to write. No matter how I feel I get down 700-1000 words a day. You have a childlike air I love..thank you

Yes, that’s it. If you watch The History Channel when they have a particularly controversial show on, such as say The secret history of the freemasons or the real da vinci code they do this, they keep you waiting until after the commercial, like “coming up next..what is really in the tomb?” The “coming up next” are the trailers. You’re on the right track! Keep it up and let me know if you need more help! Lia
