In my writing for a level language i’m writing a piece of travel writing. It’s okay at first and i always manage to make a good introduction and a good half a page start. But it always ends up just reading like another novel. Has anyone got any useful hints on how to stop this happening?

At the end of the day, when I’m finished writing, I send my work to a gmail account, print out a copy, and keep it in a notebook. In my notebook, I have dividers for material I’ve written, novel writing technique research, research for subject matter in my novel, and a few other divisions. This really works for me.

What organization methods work for you?
